In the autumn of 2002, the Beverage Testing Institute of Chicago awarded Blavod Black Vodka a Gold Medal, a score of 90 points and classified Blavod as "exceptional".
Here is how they described our vodka... "Intriguing deep garnet/olive black color. A plush entry leads to velvety medium-bodied palate with nice wheat dough and mineral notes. Finishes very smoothly with well-balanced, chewy, elements of grain, confectioner's sugar, and spice. Far more than a designer/novelty product, this is very good vodka." (tasted on 09/01/2002) |
